Principl Introduction for Wind Tunnel
The wind tunnel is a tool that research the effects of air moving past solid objects. It used in aerodynamic and consists of a closed tubular passage with the component under test mounted in the middle. A ancillary fan system moves air past the component; the fan must have straightening vanes to smooth the airflow. The test component is instrumented with a sensitive balance to measure the forces generated by airflow.
Fan performance for P-Q curve
Test method:
1. When the air flow equal zero, the static pressure of fan is maximum.
2. The pressure is decreased slowly, the air flow is increased.
3. Until the static pressure equal zero, we acquire the maximum of air flow.
4. The test recult is acquired a P-Q curve that like the figure as show:
